A
wealthy Russian entrepreneur is accusing a Manhattan nonprofit research
organization of defaming him by including him in a deck of cards that features
Russian mobsters.
Victor
Remsha, CEO and founder of Finam, a Moscow-based investment conglomerate, says
the Institute for Russian Research was wrong to make him their queen of spades
and to accuse him on the card of laundering money for Russian gangsters,
according to his Manhattan Supreme Court suit.
The
cards were sold on Amazon and posted on a website called RussianMafiaCards.com.
The
cards contained pictures and brief descriptions of alleged gangsters.
